  Jessica Lang Dance was thrilled to participate in New York Fashion Week last month. JLD dancer Kana Kimura opened the runway show for the brand 4 Corners of a Circle with her performance of The Calling which complemented the clean lines and elegance of the label's designs.

  American Ballet Theatre Principals Irina Dvorovenko and Maxim Beloserkovsky will be among a dazzling international cast of leading dancers at The Russian Ballet Icons Gala at the London Coliseum. Celebrating the life and career of the great Anna Pavlova, the event will feature famous excerpts from Pavlova's greatest roles as well as classical and contemporary dedications including Irina and Maxim's performance of Lang's highly acclaimed Splendid Isolation III. Also this month, Lang will head to California to stage this duet on Ballet San Josefor the company's upcoming season in April
  Culminating her residency at Princeton University, the students performed Lang's Prayerswith incredible grace at the school's Spring Dance Festivallast weekend.Currently, this piece is being staged on the students of the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College and will be performed in their Spring Concert next month.
  Lang has begun remounting another one of her lovely works, La Belle Danse on the students of Marymount Manhattan College. This piece has also recently been revived by Richmond Ballet, the original commissioner of the work, and will be performed during the company's Studio 3 series.
 At the end of the month Lang will travel to Birmingham, England to continue creating her new ballet, Lyric Pieces on

  Ailey II continues its striking portrayal of Lang's The Calling on its 2012 North American tour with appearances this month in North Carolina and Maryland.
