“A lot of companies debut in New York City but many do not endure. Lang is a graduate of the illustrious Juilliard School and a former dancer for Twyla Tharp. She has choreographed more than 74 works over the past 12 years- this is the kind of foundation that gives a company a fighting chance at survival. One cannot really call her an 'up-and- coming' choreographer- she is most definitely established- but still she flies a bit under the radar perhaps due to always being the 'guest choreographer' for other companies. With the debut of her own group, she will now be stepping out into her own limelight.”
